In 2002 Me and my family moved from Nacka Stockholm Sweden to Entrerrios,   Mijas Malaga Spain where I run our family owned yard, Finca Hechizo Equestrian.

 

The moving was a big change of culture and everyday life but has made me who I am today, after a couple of years in Spain I got used to the lifestyle and I integrated in the Spanish way of life.

Back in Sweden the story started, When I turned 5 years old and got a pretty pony named Peggy as my birthday present.

The problem with this pony was that as soon as you got on she threw me off and after a couple of years I learnt not only how to stay on this pony but also the rest of the naughty ponies from the local riding school.

From there started my career and shortly after also my focus on showjumping which became my discipline at the shows.

I started working as a rider and riding teacher when I was 15 years old and still in school, for to be able to pay the bills and shows of my own pony.

 

Training the horses and competing is what I loved to do and there for I also left my architecture studies to focus only on the horses.

Unlike many show jumpers there was no dedication to showjumping from my parents I simply fell in love with the sport and everything around the training, care and competitions.

Throughout the years I “ate” a lot of sand and broke many bones: it has been worth every minute of it since I now am very used to breaking in different type of horses and teaching them everything from unbroken to good competition horses.

 

I have been able to ride some very nice horses both difficult and easier rides, I see each one of them as an individual and plan their training thereafter.

I love what I do and therefor I spend most of the hours of the day on or beside a horse.

I take my work and the horses very seriously and I am happy to have had good teachers both in Sweden, Holland and Spain to guide me to the way I ride today. Currently im training with the great Luis Astolfi from spain, 4 times olympic rider And my trainer and dear friend Cheryl Georgina Milner : An amazing horsewoman and producer.

 

As for most many things has occurred during the years , such as a big fire in 2012 that burnt my whole home and stables down where we lost everything, shortly after the death of my best horse and Friend Neronie.

 

But this sport is so fascinating and always keeps you walking forward and new amazing horses come to me and I’m able to keep on competing.
